BOUNTIFUL RIDGE GOLF COURSE

GROUP RESERVATION POLICIES and PROCEDURES

 

Thank you for choosing Bountiful Ridge Golf Course as your group’s tournament site.  We hope that the following information and policies will help you in the planning of this year’s event.  Any questions may be directed to Kent McComb or Scott Olsen:  Bountiful Ridge Golf Course, 2430 S.   • Advanced Reservations are available for groups of 12 players or more.  Cost for tee time groups is $65 per player.

The fees for advanced large group reservations are as follows (shotgun starts):

  • Monday:  Full course shotgun (excludes holidays)               $7,000.0
      • Half course shotgun (excludes holidays)                             $4,000.00
  • Wednesday:  Full course shotgun                                               $9,000.00
      • Half course shotgun                                                                   $5,000.00
  • Friday:  Full course shotgun                                                         $11,000.00
      • Half course shotgun                                                                   $6,000.00

Full course shotgun fee includes course usage up to 144 players.  Half course shotgun is defined as 80 players or less.  Half course starts will be led by public play and/or followed by public play.

  • For full day exclusive course rental contact Kent or Scott for pricing
  • A $260.00 (one foursome) deposit/down payment will need to be returned with the enclosed Reservation form in order to hold your requested date and time. This payment will be deducted from your final bill. Deposits cannot be refunded.
  • Total payment must be paid seven (7) days prior to the scheduled event. Rainouts (Golf Course unplayable) will be rescheduled or refunded.  Unfortunately, No-Shows cannot be refunded.
  • All payments made with credit card will be subject to a 3% Surcharge.
  • In order to continue our policy to allow groups to reserve large blocks of tee times in advance, groups of 60 players or more will be expected to use the golf course restaurant – No outside food or beverage may be brought into the facility. Under the Utah State law, patrons are prohibited bringing outside alcohol onto the premises. The restaurant can provide many different levels of service to best fit your group (menu attached). If not on the menu, just ask.
  • The tournament coordinator will need to provide a list of pairings (tee time or hole assignments) to the golf shop no later than three (3) days prior to the event.
  • All groups purchasing pro shop gift certificates will receive a complimentary gift certificate in the amount of 10% of the purchase price of gift certificates. (Example: You purchase $1,000.00 in gift certificates you will receive an additional gift certificate in the amount of $100.00). We can also provide many types of tee gifts and golf prizes at reasonable prices. Contrary to popular belief, many items may be less money and more convenient than dealing with the discount retail stores.

  •  The company/organization will be responsible for the actions of their group.

TOURNAMENT COORDINATOR/ORGANIZER INFORMATION

The following is a list of suggestions to help you organize and run a successful golf event for your company or group:

 

  • Have a sign-up deadline for entering your event at least 14 days prior to the event.  This will allow you time to set pairings and organize your money (remember, full payment is due 7 days in advance).
  • Publicize your pairings/tee times within your group. ALLOW AT LEAST 60 MINUTES FOR THE CHECK-IN PROCESS WITH SHOTGUN STARTS. Situated high above the city, players underestimate the time it takes to get to our course from the freeway. Your job is difficult enough; late arrivals will only add to the challenge.
  • We want to help you make your event successful and enjoyable. Our staff can provide basic pairing sheets, handicap information, contest markers, and scorecards at no cost.
  • As the event coordinator we realize you are doing many other things to help make your tournament a success. For your convenience our staff can provide professional scoring and scoreboard at a small cost of $1.00 per player.
  • Please, KEEP MULLIGANS TO A MINIMUM – The #1 complaint amongst golfers is SLOW PLAY. The simple cure: Minimize mulligans and keep up with the group in front of you.  Your players will thank you.
  • On course sponsors/vendors will be limited to 18.  More than 18 may incur a surcharge.

***      Be sure and send the accompanying “Reservation Form” along with your $260.00 deposit. Payment must be made within two weeks of the date of this notice in order to secure your reservation. Unfortunately, deposits cannot be refunded.
